Allah ﷻ says about Ibrahim عليه السلام
فَبَشَّرْنَـهُ بِغُلَـمٍ حَلِيمٍ

So we gave him glad tidings of a forbearing joy
[37:101]
Meaning, glad tidings of a son, Isma’eel عليه السلام, after 86 years of waiting.

Note 2 key points here,

Allah ﷻ has power over all things, like the Birth of Isma’eel عليه السلام to parents of extremely old age and Isa عليه السلام in the Virgin Birth.
Allah ﷻ doesn’t provide anything that we Love, except we are tested with it.

Then Allah ﷻ says about them عليهم السلام

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْىَ قَالَ يبُنَىَّ إِنِّى أَرَى فِى الْمَنَامِ أَنِّى أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى

And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you. So look what you think!”

Ibn Kathir رحمه الله writes “He told his son that in order to make it easier for him, and also to test his patience and resolve, at a young age, in obeying Allah and obeying his father.”

قَالَ يأَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤمَرُ

He said: “O my father! Do that which you are commanded…”

سَتَجِدُنِى إِن شَآءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّـبِرِينَ

if Allah wills, you shall find me of the patient
[37:102]

سبحان الله

The readiness of Ibrahim عليه اسلام to sacrifice his beloved son after 86 years of waiting for the sake of Allah ﷻ and on top of that the readiness of Isma’eel عليه اسلام to give his own life for the sake of Allah ﷻ.

Ponder over yourselves,
What have you sacrificed?
What are you ready to sacrifice?
_
Ya Akhi, you cannot sacrifice the attention of women, nor the gazing at women nor the time you spend in leisure for the sake of Allah ﷻ,
While Hamza رضي الله عنه was mutilated for Him ﷻ,
Yet you want to enter the same Jannah as him رضي الله عنه?
_
Ya Ukhti, you cannot sacrifice the make-up nor the attention of men or the envy of women for the sake of Allah ﷻ,
While Sumayyah رضي الله عنه was impaled with a spear announcing لا اله الا الله و محمد رسول الله.
Yet you want to enter the same Jannah as her رضي الله عنها?
_
What have you sacrificed?
Wallahi!
