All Praise is due to Allaah; we praise Him and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allaah from the evils of our souls and our actions. Whoever Allaah guides, none can misguide, and whoever Allaah misguides, none can guide. We bear witness that no one is worthy of being worshipped except Allaah, alone, without any partners. We also bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is His servant and messenger.
Welcome to Islam Generation. This platform is an independent Islamic organization created to explain, clarify and propagate pristine knowledge of Islam and help Muslims better learn and understand the religion as understood by the earlier generations, who are the Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah; the Salaf us-Saalih (pious predecessors) who were described by the Prophet (ﷺ) as the Saved Sect, all of these being synonymous terms and phrases for those traversing upon the way of the Companions during the first three-hundred years hijri (300H), and anyone who adhered to that thereafter. There is only one creed that Allaah revealed. There are not two or three divergent creeds.
In light of the above, this website presents regular da’wah messages from the Qur’aan, Hadeeth, Tafseer, and stories of the salafs as narrated by the noble Scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah, past and present, in their books, classes, and lectures. It conveys this message primarily in the English language and, to some extent, Arabic.
Islam Generation Dawah Group was created on 22nd January 2015 by a consortium of brothers headed by Dr. Bello Ahmad as a regular dawah platform with its goal mainly to propagate pristine Islamic knowledge around the globe. Its method of dawah and its activities as such are firmly rooted in the understanding of the Salaf us-Saalih.
We supplicate that Allaah (ﷻ) grants us and all the Muslims success in following that which He loves and that which pleases Him-from Tawheed, the Sunnah, and its people-and keeping away from that which He hates and is displeased with-including Shirk, Innovations and its people.
Our work is guided by the following core values:
Our scholars are those who follow and call to the pure Islām of those who preceeded us from the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) and those who followed them upon the Straight Path (the “Salaf”) from the first three generations of Muslims and those who learnt exclusively from them. They are the ones who worship and call to worshipping Allaah without any deviation from the creed and call to protecting His religion from every new thing that might become attached to it unlawfully.
“Indeed this knowledge is religion, so look to see from whom who take your religion.” (Ibn Sirīn, Sharh muqaddimatu Saheeh Muslim)
At the forefront of this Salafī call (“daʿwah”) in our time were great scholars who passed away including Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī, ʿAbd al‑ʿAzīz ibn Bāz, Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaimīn, and Zayd ibn Muḥammad al-Madkhalī, may Allaah have mercy upon them.
And the Salafī Daʿwah continues with the great scholars we still have with us, ʿAbd al-Muḥsin ibn Ḥamad al-ʿAbbād, Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān, Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī, “Abdul Razaq ibn ‘Abdil Muhsin Al ‘Abaad Al badr, ʿUbayd ibn ʿAbdillāh al-Jābirī, Abdullāh Al-Bukhārī, and many others, may Allaah protect them from every harm and keep them firm upon the truth.
We strive to stay true to the text by checking and verifying any text we quote and referencing correctly with well-known printed editions. Some hadeeth sites will have an English reference number that has been popularized due to the translation, and some others may consult an Arabic version. Sticking with one or the other is not an option due to the numerous errors and inconsistencies (the simplest of which is splitting and combination of hadith that have to be combined and unsplit respectively). This could be the only cause of discrepancies in reference numbers.
We are committed to providing a user friendly interface to view our resources on a variety of devices. It is important to us to reduce connectivity barriers to accessing knowledge.
We provide an open platform so that others can build on our resources.

For the purpose of efficiency and continuity, our team of volunteers is divided into departments, ensuring our goals are being achieved.
The management comprises the decision makers, overseeing and responsible for all actions across the Islam Generation website and social media channels. The group has shown great commitment to the project’s cause. They are responsible for supervision, decision implementation, and structurally & technologically innovative changes that drive the project forward.
They are responsible for creating the articles and posts that are shared on the website and social media. Their output is vital to the mission of the group.
They are responsible for uploading all Islam Generation’s posts on its social media channels. They play a significant role in the platform, as they are nearest to and commonly interact with the Group members.
They are responsible for designing the hero images that accompany our articles. They also create videos for the Islam Generation YouTube channel.
They are responsible for the designing, maintenance, and general management of the website, as well as uploading articles.
Despite the clear-cut roles, It’s important to note that all the teams are tight knit, with most individuals, including the founder and management serving multiple functions based on their skills and expertise.
