Allah ﷻ says in Surah Al-An’am:
وَهَـذَا صِرَطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيماً
And this is the path of your Lord leading straight .
that is, Islam is Allah’s straight path.
قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
We have detailed Our Ayaat
We have explained the verses and made them clear and plain,
لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُون
for a people who take heed
Those who have sound comprehension and understand what Allah ﷻ and His Messenger convey to them,
لَهُمْ دَارُ السَّلَـمِ
For them will be the abode of peace
Paradise,
عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۖ
with their Lord.
Allah ﷻ described Paradise as `the abode of peace’, because its residents are safe due to their access to the straight path.
وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم
And He will be their Wali
Protector, Supporter and Helper,
بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ
because of what they used to do,
[6:126-127]
As reward for their good deeds, Allah ﷻ has favored them and been generous with them, and awarded them Paradise.

What do we learn from this?
There are two paths
One leads to Jahannam, One leads to Jannah.
There is the crooked and the edgy road which is covered and beautified like a mirage to seduce us.
And there is the straight path, covered in difficulty, to test us.
A test.
_
But what does the beautified path lead to?
It leads to the Hellfire, it leads to the eternal torment!
_
And what does the Thorny and difficult path lead to?
Eternal Bliss in Jannah!
_
What’s worth more?!
Wallahi! Follow the straight path of this Dunya,
Try our best to live to the statement and command
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ
Obey Allah and His Messenger ﷺ
_
Do what they commanded, avoid what they forbid.
Love what they love, hate what they hate.
_
And Wallahi we will be on the most straightest path in Dunya.
_
May Allah ﷻ forgive us and grant us ease and keep us steadfast upon His Deen.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
