The Two Types of People

Allah ﷻ says
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌۭ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌۭ
On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black.
[3:106]
Allah ﷻ also says
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ
[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
[88:8]
Allah ﷻ also says
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ
Some faces that Day shall be radiant.
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ
Looking at their Lord.
[75:22-23]
This means, they will see Him with their very eyes.
Narrated Suhaib:
from the Prophet (ﷺ), regarding the saying of Allah Most High:
لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَزِيَادَةٌۭ ۖ
And for those who have done good is the best and even more
[10:26]
He (ﷺ) said: “When the inhabitants of Paradise have entered Paradise a caller will call out: ‘Indeed there remains for you a promise with Allah, and He wants to reward you with it.’ They will say: ‘Have your faces not been made bright, have we not been saved from the Fire, and have we not been admitted into Paradise?'” He said: “So the Veil will be lifted.” He said: “By Allah! Nothing given to them [by Allah] will be more beloved to them than looking at Him.”
[Jami’at At-Tirmidhi Vol. 5, Book 44, Hadith 3105]

These are the righteous! They will see Allah ﷻ!
The single greatest reward of Jannah, is the day of increase!

Allah ﷻ says
عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
They will be upon raised thrones looking (at Allah)
[83:35]
_
Then there are the second type of people.
Those who were unrepentant, who sinned and transgressed,
They have built their own seal upon their own hearts.
Allah ﷻ says about them:
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Nay! Rather upon their hearts is a covering due to what they used to do.
[83:14]

Their sins and lack of obedience to Allah ﷻ sealed their own hearts and left them in the trap of Shaytaan!
_
This is how Shaytaan works, he plants the seed of sin in the heart and after the person does it once, Shaytaan goes, and it is the Nafs that whispers!
And Allah ﷻ says about them
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
Nay! Surely, they will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day
[83:15]
Meaning they will be veiled from seeing their Lord and Creator on the Day of Judgement!

Wallah, this is the worst state,
Look at the two conditions of the two groups of people on Qiyamah!
_
Don’t you want to enjoy the reward of seeing Allah ﷻ?
_
Why don’t you act to please Him ﷻ?
It isn’t easy, but try your utmost and leave the rest to Allah ﷻ!
