﷽
Turn Back to your Creator
فلو أنا إذا متنا تُركنا
And if when we die, we were left alone
لكانَ المَوْتُ راحَة َ كُلِّ حَيِّ
Then surely death would be the tranquility of the living
ولكنا إذا متنا بُعثنا
But when we die, we shall be brought back out,
ونُسأل بعده عن كل شي
And we shall be questioned about everything.

What a beautiful poem!

And greater are the words of Allah ﷻ where Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an in Surah Jumu’ah
قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Say, “Indeed, the death from which you flee – indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do.”
[62:8]

We shall all die!
كُلُّ نَفسٍ ذَائِقَةُ المَوت
Every soul shall taste death.
[3:185]
_
What matters is what we prepared for its arrival, for that time it shall be too late to turn back!
_
You can die today! Ask yourself are you ready to meet your Lord?
Ask yourself will you be honoured in death with the Shahadah and your record placed in Illiyeen amongst the records of the righteous?
Or do you deserve the opposite, disgrace in death and disgrace in the Akhirah?
_
Be mindful!
And how much regret will you feel,
When you are squeezed in your grave until Qiyamah?
And on Qiyamah, when you see the people of Jannah entering Jannah, while you stand scared and unsure with the fire before you?
_
Imagine being raised up, in a state of sin! The disgrace!
Then standing before the Lord of the Worlds!
_
We can avoid this by repenting now and changing our lives for the better!
_
Ya Ibn Adam! The preparation we would make if person of power visited us would be months in advance!
Why do we not then devote our lives in preparation to meet the Creator of everything?
_
May Allah ﷻ grant us a good death. May Allah ﷻ grant us safety from all punishment and entrance into Jannah al Firdous.
