Commanding and Being Patient

Allah ﷻ says

فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمَيْلًا

So be patient with a beautiful patience.
[70:5]
There are three types of patience.
One of them is:

صبر على طاعات

Patience upon Obedience.

As Allah ﷻ says

وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا

And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein.
[20:132]

Allah ﷻ uses the word وَاصْطَبِر
Commanding to be patient in the worship of Allah ﷻ stronger than Sabr (patience).

لاَ نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقاً نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُك

We ask not of you a provision: We provide for you.
[20:132]
Means that if you establish and adhere to the prayer then it will come to you from places that you do not expect.

Some worships are not easy like waking up for Fajr, Optional Fasting, Repenting after Sinning, Consistency in Salah.
As Allah ﷻ says

وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَى

and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.
[20:132]

The Ayah also associates the word Salah and Muttaqun.
Establish and Adhere to Salah and you will become Mutaqi.
What is Interesting is that Allah ﷻ has said

إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاء وَالْمُنكَرِ

Verily, Salah prevents from Immorality and Wrong-doing
[29:45]
And to have Taqwa is to be fearful of Allah ﷻ and to be conscious of Him at all times so as to prevent yourself from Sin!

Allah ﷻ orders us to have to Sabr in everything,
As Allah ﷻ says

وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ

And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord in the morning and the night, seeking his countenance.
Meaning, sit with those who say لا اله الا الله و محمد رسول الله and remember Allah, by praising, glorifying and declaring His greatness and call on him in the morning or the evening.

وَلاَ تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَوةِ الدُّنْيَ

And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring the adornments of the worldly life.
[18:28]
Meaning do not seek the people of nobility and wealth instead of them.

Be patient and sit with the righteous, even if they are frowned upon by society!
The Qur’aysh told Prophet ﷺ to dismiss the Weak Sahaba present at the Gathering so Allah ﷻ revealed this Ayah.

May Allah ﷻ Grant us beautiful patience.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
