By following the footsteps of the Prophet ﷺ , you will not only be proving your love for the Messenger ﷺ but you will also attain the love of Allah ﷻ, as mentioned in the Quran.

قُلْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُوْنَ اللهَ فَتَّبِعُوْنِي

Say if you Love Allah then Follow me.

Prophet ﷺ and his family were driven from his home and persecuted.
_
His companions were tortured.
Why?

Because they were muslims, because they said لا إله إلا الله.
_
But why do we engage in Haram relations, do anything for a person and we’ll be open about it, but when it comes to following the Sunnah we are embarrassed.
_
We show how much we love these celebrities who doesn’t even care or know anything about us.
_
But when it comes to sending Salaam upon Prophet ﷺ, and knowing him and following his Sunnah, there are heavy deficiencies.
_
What kind of love do we have?
_
We live in a time when سبحان الله Muslims know more football players than the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ,
More music lyrics than Qur’an Ayaat and Ahadith.
_
We know the lives of the celebrities and we take them as our role models instead of looking towards Muhammad ﷺ and his life and making him a role model.

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:

لَّا يَتَّخِذِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers.
[3:28]

Reflect on how much love you have for your music role models and football players !
_
Because when the question interested the grave comes,
_
من نبيك؟
Who is your Prophet?

Who will you say?
When you didn’t know or follow Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?
_
How will he recognise you on Qiyamah for intercession when you left his Sunnah behind?
_
Words are always succeeded by Action, otherwise words remain empty.
_
Similarly claiming to Love Allah ﷻ or Prophet ﷺ won’t do any good unless you prove it through action.
_
So perform his Sunnah!
Recite Durood!
Study his Seerah!
_
May Allah ﷻ guide us and make us Upholders of the Sunnah.
