Allah ﷻ says in Surah Waqi’ah
وَالسّٰبِقُوْنَ السّٰبِقُوْنَ
And the forerunners (In faith), will be the forerunners (in the hereafter)
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ
Those will be the nearest to Allah.
فِيْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيْم
In gardens of bliss.
ثُلَّةُ مِّنَ الاَوَّلِيْنَ
A number of those from the people of old
وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
A few from the later times
[56:10-14]

Allah ﷻ describes the most beloved servants, He ﷻ describes how they will be close to Allah ﷻ on Qiyamah.
How beautiful is that?
Being near Allah ﷻ, being under His shade, relaxing while those people who mocked you in the Dunya are drowning in their own sweat, while the high and mighty oppressors are crushed by the masses of panicking souls.

How do we achieve this status?
Allah ﷻ mentions how there will be many from before and a few from later,
Doesn’t this tell you that the best way to Allah ﷻ is through Prophet ﷺ, the Sahaba, the Tabi’een and their students?
_
What does that mean?
By Repenting constantly, making Du’a constantly, detachment from the Dunya, abstaining from Haraam and Makrooh. Engaging in Fardh, doing as many Sunnah acts as possible and also as many Mustahhab acts!
_
To achieve the highest ranks and the best rewards, we must do nothing less than emulate the best and strive to be the best.
_
And what rewards are there?
Allah ﷻ describes in the next few Ayahs.
- On Decorated Thrones
- Reclining on them, facing one another.
- Round about them shall go youths never altering in age.
- With goblets and ewers and cups of pure drink
- they shall not be affected with headache nor shall they be exhausted by it
- And fruits as such they choose
- And any flesh of fowl they desire
- And pure beautiful ones
- The like of hidden pearls
- A reward for what they used to do
[56:15-24]

Who wouldn’t want this? Only the fool would ask about this and know about it and still not take heed.
_
We have to be like strangers in this world so that we can live like Kings and Queens in the hereafter.
_
And As Allah ﷻ says
و في ذالك فاليتنافس المتنافسون
And for that let the aspirers aspire.
[83:26]
_
May Allah ﷻ help us all.
May He ﷻ accept all our deeds during this month of Ramadan and may He ﷻ keep us steadfast.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
