A Reward For Obedience And Disobedience
Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Everyone from my nation will enter Paradise but those who refuse.”
They said, “O Messenger of Allah, who will refuse?”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever obeys me enters Paradise, and whoever disobeys me has refused.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 7280]

Allah ﷻ says :
وَٱللَّهُ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ دَارِ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ
And Allah calls towards the abode of peace!
[10:25]
_
And in another Ayah,
وَٱللَّهُ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ
And Allah calls towards Jannah and forgiveness by His permission.
[2:221]
_
Allah ﷻ sent His Rasool ﷺ to spread the message and to call the people to obey Allah ﷻ!
_
And whoever did so, will enter Jannah!
And whoever didn’t, had refused!
_
How greater is the sin, of the one who refuses whilst also proclaiming the Shahadah!
_
Allah ﷻ says
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِى ٱلسِّلْمِ كَآفَّةًۭ
Oh you who believe! Enter into Islam completely.
[2:208]
_
When we disobey Allah ﷻ and His Rasool ﷺ, we have refused,
Refused the call of Allah ﷻ to Jannah! Dar As Salam!
To Forgiveness!
To Mercy!
_
So let us ponder over the state of ourselves!
How many of us, refused the Hoor Al Ayn of Jannah by engaging in illicit relationships?!
How many of us, refused the Wine of Jannah by drinking the alcohol of this Dunya?!
How many of us, refused the chance to see Allah ﷻ in Jannah by looking towards Haraam?
_
How many of us refuse it on a daily basis?
_
Let us stop refusing!
Let us strive to stop sinning!
Let us start obeying Allah ﷻ & His Messenger ﷺ, and asking for Jannah,
_
In which there are palaces of gold and silver,
Hoor Al Ayn,
Rivers of Wine, Milk and Honey,
Soil of Musk,
And the face of Allah ﷻ!
_
Strive for that!
