Lying about your dream
Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡرِفٞ كَذَّابٞ
“Indeed, Allah does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar.”
[Surat Ghāfir 40:28]
_ Narrated by Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, _“Whoever claims to have seen a dream which he did not see, will be ordered to make a knot between two barley grains (on the Day of Resurrection) which he will not be able to do.”_ [Sahih al-Bukhari 7042] __ Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (As-Sulami) رضي الله عنه narrated from 'Ali and I think he said: From the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: _"Whoever lies about his dream, he will be required to knot barely kernels on the Day of Judgement."_ [Graded hasan (good) in Jami
at-Tirmidhi 2281] _
Narrated by Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنه:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The worst lie is that a person claims to have seen a dream which he has not seen.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 7043]
