Strive & Earn For It
Allah ﷻ says in Surah At-Tawbah:
وَعْدَ اللهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
Allah has promised the believing men and women
جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا
Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever
[9:72]
Abu Bakr bin Qais Al-Ash’ari narrated that his father said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Two gardens of silver, their vessels and everything in them; and two gardens of gold, their vessels and everything in them, and nothing between the people and their seeing their Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, except the Veil of Pride covering His Face in the Garden of Eden (Jannat ‘Adn).”
[Sunan Ibn Majah 186, Grade: Sahih]
وَمَسَـكِنَ طَيِّبَةً
And beautiful mansions
وَرِضْوَنٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ
But the pleasure of Allah is greater
[9:72]
Meaning, attaining the pleasure of Allah ﷻ is much more grand, more greater and more better than attaining Jannah!

Suhayb رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “When the people of Paradise enter it, Allah Almighty will say: Would you like anything more? They will say: Have you not brightened our faces? Have you not admitted us into Paradise and saved us from Hellfire? Then, Allah will lift the veil and nothing they are given will be more beloved to them than looking at their Lord Almighty.” Then, the Prophet recited the verse, “For those who do good is more.” (10:26)
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 181]

And Allah ﷻ ends the ayah saying:
ذٰالِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظِيم
That is (truly) the ultimate triumph.
[9:72]
_
Reflect!
How many times have we refused this from ourselves?
By sinning and being arrogant to Allah ﷻ!
_
Do we not want this for ourselves?
Jannah has pleasures beyond the imagination, for eternity!
But it depends on us and whether we are deserving, whether we can sacrifice the cheap pleasures of this Dunya in order to prepare for Al Akhirah.
_
Turn back to Allah ﷻ and strive on the straight path and make use of your blessings before death!
_
May Allah ﷻ grant us a beautiful death and an easy reckoning.
