Do Not Forsake It
The Importance of Salah has been stressed to such an extent, that Jabir رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Verily, between a man and idolatry and unbelief is abandoning the prayer.”
[Sahih Muslim 82]

The Salah is not just another way of worshipping Allah ﷻ, it is THE way to worship Allah ﷻ daily.
_
Salah expiates sins.
Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The key to Paradise is prayer, and the key to prayer is ablution.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 4]
_
Both acts of ablution and Salah expiate minor sins that we commit throughout the day whether we know about them or not!
_
Secondly, Salah brings you closer to Allah ﷻ, if the Salah has proper Khushoo then it will be a means of you raising your rank in the eyes of Allah ﷻ!
_
Salah keeps us away from sins and gives us Taqwa.
As Allah ﷻ said in the Qur’an
إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ
Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing,
[29:45]

Salah keeps our foundations in the religion firm and strong, so no matter how many sins we commit, our Salah is a pillar we can lean on and use to bring ourselves back to a stage where we would want to be.

Pray your Salah! Guard it! Allah ﷻ made success synonymous with Salah in the Qur’an in Surah Mu’minoon
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Successful indeed are the believers
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ
those who humble themselves in prayer;
[23:1-2]

How do we think this Ummah will be successful without being able to establish our basic Faraa’idh?
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Success calls you five times a day, you heard it, yet you chased success through other means.
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Leaving the Salah is dangerous, keep firm on it and establish it and your life will turn on its head.
_
May Allah ﷻ make our Salah firm and with Khushoo and may Allah ﷻ make us among the righteous who enter Jannah-Al-Firdous.
