Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.”
[13:28]

Jubary ibn Nufayr reported: Abu Darda رضي الله عنه said:
“Verily, one who keeps his tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah Almighty, those will enter Paradise laughing.”
[Ḥilyat al-Awliyā’ 1/219]

Ask yourselves
How often do you keep your tongue busy with the remembrance of Allah ﷻ?
On the other hand..
How much time do you occupy yourself in loose talk and other non beneficial conversations and musings?

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Allah Almighty said:
O son of Adam, if you remember Me in solitude, I will remember you in solitude. If you remember Me in a gathering, I will remember you in a gathering greater than the one in which you remembered Me.”
[Musnad al-Bazzār 5138, Grade: Sahih according to Al-Suyuti]

سبحان الله
Such is the benefit of remembrance of Allah ﷻ.
Just imagine Allah ﷻ mentioning about you in the blessed gathering of the Angels?
Don’t you earn for that?
Don’t you want that for you?

And what will be the situation of the person in the Akhira, who is engaged in Dhikr in the Dunya?
Jubary ibn Nufayr reported: Abu Darda رضي الله عنه said, “Verily, one who keeps his tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah Almighty, those will enter Paradise laughing.”

There so many Hadith which mentions the rewards and benefits of Dhikr and so many Hadith where Prophet ﷺ taught us different types of Dhikr.
_
Brothers and sisters make an effort to research, learn and implement those Dhikrs in your life as it would be a big and very easy investment for your Akhira.
_
The Salaf were in the forefront when it came to Dhikr.
Hilal ibn Yasar reported: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, رضي الله عنه said, “That I declare the glory of Allah many times is more beloved to me than spending the same number of coins in the way of Allah.”

May Allah make us among those who constantly remember Allah ﷻ.
