Allah ﷻ says in Surah An Nisa Ayah 34

الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَآءِ

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women.
[4:34]
Meaning, the man is responsible for the woman, and he is her maintainer, caretaker and leader who disciplines her if she deviates.

In this day and age, a time of excessive freedom to fulfil desires in a highly liberal society, men lost their Gheerah.

They’ll let their wives, daughters, mothers put themselves on display. Perfume, make-up, immodest dress. What a disaster!

Have you no jealousy over your women folk?

Imam Ahmad narrates a Hadith in which Prophet ﷺ said “Three people will not enter paradise, and Allaah will not look to them on the Day of Judgement: the one who is disobedient to his parents, the woman who imitates men and the ad-Dayooth.”
[Sunan al-Nasā’ī 2562, Grade: Sahih according to Al-Albani]

Who is Ad Dayooth?

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said, “And the dayyooth (the man with no jealousy over the woman-folk) is the most vile of Allah’s creation, and Jannah is forbidden for him, (because of his lack of Gheerah) A man should be “jealous” with regard to his wife’s honor and standing. He should defend her whenever she is slandered or spoken ill of behind her back. Actually, this is a right of every Muslim in general but a right of the spouse specifically. He should also be jealous in not allowing other men to look at his wife or speak with her in a manner which is not appropriate.”

Imagine! Wallahi, some women are drunk on this liberal society and the men are happily blinded by it.

How can a Muslim man go about his daily life, when he knows his wife, his sister, his daughter or his mother has dressed in a manner that is immodest and displeasing to Allah ﷻ and they are undressed by the eyes of men?

Women, when your Husband does tell you to cover up appropriately according to the Qur’an and Sunnah so you please Allah ﷻ. Listen.
As Ibn Hibbaan narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Prophet ﷺ said “If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: Enter Paradise from whichever gates you wish”
[Sahih Ibn Hibbān 4252, Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani]
