Read, Reflect and ponder on this..
Allah ﷻ says
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحۡمَةٗ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
And We have sent you not but as a mercy for the Alamin.
[21:107]
Here Allah ﷻ tells us that He has made Muhammad ﷺ a mercy to the Alamin, i.e. He sent him as a mercy for all of them so whoever accepts this mercy and gives thanks for this blessing, will be happy in this world and in Akhirah.
The Prophet ﷺ was sent as a guide and as a mercy to bring the people out of darkness into the Light of Islam!
Without him where would we be?
Without him there is no path to Jannah!
Yet we find that he ﷺ is forgotten and degraded through the actions of people, his ﷺ Sunnah is forgotten amongst the people… It is no longer seen as honourable!
We find that people have taken other role models in his ﷺ place!
We find that people will travel and make efforts in order to see and meet their favourite celebrities, Yet people hesitate in their efforts to meet Muhammad ﷺ in Jannah!
What are we doing?
Do we not feel anything,
Even when we know the Hadith reported in Musnad of Imam Ahmad, Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه narrated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “I wish I could meet my brothers.” The Prophet’s companions said, “Are we not your brothers?” The Prophet said, “You are my companions, but my brothers are those who have faith in me although they never saw me.”
[Musnad Aḥmad 12169]
Brothers and sisters! That’s us! He ﷺ is talking about us!!
Just think..
How much does your favourite celebrity long for you?
Do they even acknowledge your existence?
Realise this!
That the only one that is able to guide you through this life by his example and lead you to success in the Akhirah by his intercession is Muhammad ﷺ!
Your favourite celebrity will be next to those you looked down upon, in the same state! As A’isha رضي الله عنها narrated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
‘You will be gathered barefoot, naked and uncircumcised.’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, men and women will be looking at one another?!’ He ﷺ then recited
لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ
On that day, everyone will have a matter which will make him indifferent. [80:37]
[Sahih Bukhari 6075, Sahih Muslim 5107]
You women aspire to look like these female celebrities when nobody will bat an eyelid at them on the day it matters!
You men lust over these women, know that their beauty won’t save you from Allah ﷻ!
