Reflect on this..
Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ
My Word cannot be changed
وَمَآ أَنَاْ بِظَلَّـمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
and never will I be unjust to the servants.
[50:29]
_
Umar رضي الله عنه used to say, “Bring yourselves to account, before you are taken to account!”
_
Why?
If we account ourselves now, no matter how much we’ve sinned, it isn’t too late.
We can still repent!
_
But when we die, when we are in the grave, on the plains of Hashr, being judged,
Our opportunity will have gone!
_
As Allah says
إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيم
Surely the righteous will be in bliss
وَ إِنَّ الفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيم
Surely the wicked will be in the punishment.
يَصْلَونَهَا يَومَ الدِّين
They will enter it on the day of judgement.
وَ مَا هُم عَنهَا بِغَائِبِين
And they will not be absent from it.
[82:13-16]

Coming back to Surah Qaf
Then Allah ﷻ says
يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ
On the Day We will say to Hell, “Have you been filled?” and it will say, “Are there some more,”
[50:30]

سبحان الله
This is the punishment of Allah.
The Hellfire which Allah ﷻ says
فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَ الحِجَارَة
So fear the fire, whose fuel is men and stones.
[2:24]
_
Ponder over this Jahannam!
With flames of black,
The lightest punishment being sandals of fire that boils the brain!
_
Ponder over this Jahannam that will keep wanting more people!
Ponder over what you have done in this life,
Whether you will be protected from it, or put in right into it!
_
Wallahi, before you commit a sin, before you try and excuse yourself,
Ponder,
Ask yourself…
Is Jahannam worth this sin?
