“How happy is the one who devotes his life to لا اله الا الله”
Allah ﷻ says
أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
Surely in the remembrance of Allah ﷻ do hearts find rest.
[13:28]

Remembrance and worship of Allah ﷻ leads to a content and righteous life, which leads to a righteous death.
_
“How happy is the one who’s last words are لا اله الا الله”
Allah ﷻ says
كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ
Every soul shall taste death.
ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Then you will be returned to us.
[29:57]
Scary and humbling Ayaat, but a Mu’min welcomes Death!
Why?
Mu’adh ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
“He whose last words are ‘there is no God but Allah,’ (لا اله الا الله) will enter Paradise.”
[Sunan Abī Dāwūd 3116, Grade: Sahih according to Al-Albani]

“How happy is the one whose grave becomes one of the paradises”
As Prophet ﷺ said about the grave of a believer
“Then some of its fragrance comes to him, his grave is expanded to as far as the eye can see”
[At-Tirmidhi]
In other narrations, a window to his place in Jannah is opened and his grave is filled with Noor!

“How happy is the one who is under the shade of Allah, on the day when there is no shade”
Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever grants respite to someone in difficulty or relieves him, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection when there is no shade but his.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1306, Grade: Sahih]

“How happy is the one who delivers the book in his right hand, he will say “Here read my record!”
Allah ﷻ says after mentioning this person his abode
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ
He will be in a life of pleasure.
[101:7]
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ
In highly raised Gardens!
[88:10]

“How happy is the one drawn away from the fire”
Can you imagine the happiness of those who are forgiven, who are entered into Jannah for small reasons, imagine the joy of the last person to enter Jannah!
As Allah ﷻ says
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ
Oh you contented Soul!
ٱرْجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةًۭ مَّرْضِيَّةًۭ
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing.
[89:27-28]

May Allah Grant us the Tawfeeq to be among the people of Jannah and make our last words to be لا اله الا الله
آمين يا رب العالمين
