THE BIGGEST REWARD

Seeing Allah ﷻ
➖➖➖
Translation:
Allah ﷻ said
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ
Some faces that Day shall be radiant.
Upon them is radiance and beauty!
إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
Looking towards their lord.
[75:22-23]
Allah ﷻ said
إِنَّ الأَبرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيم
Surely the pious are in bliss.
عَلَى الأَرَائِكِ يَنظِرُون
On high thrones looking
[83:22-23]
Looking at what?
Looking at what Allah has prepared for them in Jannah,
And it is said, looking at Allah!

The Prophet ﷺ said “When the people of Paradise enter the Paradise,
Allah will say, Do you want me to give you anything extra' They will say,Haven’t you whitened our faces Haven’t you entered us into Paradise and saved us from the Fire’
Then He will remove the veil and they will not be given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord,
Then he ﷺ recited this Ayah,
لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ الْحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَةٌ
For those who do good is the best and extra.
[10:26]
[See Sahih Muslim 181]

We will surely be able to look at Allah!
And it is only from the pleasure of Allah ﷻ that we will see him!
وَ رِضوَانُ مِّنَ اللهِ أَكبَر
And the pleasure of Allah is greater!
[9:72]
Seeing Allah ﷻ in Jannah, will be better than Jannah itself!
Such is the beauty and the Noor of Allah ﷻ!

In another ayah, Allah ﷻ says
لِمِثلِ هَذَا فَليَعمَلِ العَامِلُون
For the likes of this [Jannah] let the workers work!
[37:61]
_
So let us work, strive, make effort and sacrifice for the likes of the Jannah, the Jannah that Allah ﷻ prepared for us!
_
Otherwise we will be among those who are at a great loss!
If we fail to do this, if we fail to fulfil our duties, we risk among those whom Allah ﷻ describes,
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ
And some faces that Day will be gloomy.
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ
Thinking that some calamity is about to fall on them.
[75:24-25]

And Allah ﷻ says in another ayah,
كَلاَّ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
Nay! Surely, they will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day!
[83:15]
meaning, they will have a place on the Day of Judgement, and lodging in Sijjin, along with this they will be veiled from seeing their Lord and Creator on the Day of Judgement.

Imagine their regret, when they see the people of Jannah
_
Let’s not be from them!
May Allah ﷻ protect us and make us among those who will see Him in Jannah.
