﷽
Do not despair of His Mercy
Allah ﷻ says
إِنَّا هُدْنَـآ إِلَيْكَ
“indeed, we have turned back to You”
[7:156]
Means, we repent, go back and return unto You.

Let this be our slogan! Why?
_
Allah ﷻ says
اِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِين
Surely Allah loves those who repent!
[2:222]
_
You’re a sinner and you want Allah ﷻ to Love you? To have Rahma on you? Repent!
_
Wallah! Let this be your slogan,
In times where you are strong in your Deen and when you are weak!
_
Allah ﷻ said in a Hadith Qudsi,
“Ya Ibn Adam! Even if your sins were to reach the sky, if you asked me for my forgiveness, I would forgive you”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3540, Grade: Sahih]

How Merciful is Allah ﷻ? سبحان الله
_
Then our second Slogan should be
إِنَّآ إِلَى اللَّهِ رَغِبُونَ
Indeed we are desirous towards Allah
[9:59]
Means, we turn our hopes to Allah ﷻ!
_
Turning to Him in our moments of disobedience, may earn us forgiveness for everything!
_
As Allah ﷻ says
وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ
My Mercy encompasses all things!
[7:156]
_
So who else will alleviate the hardships except Allah ﷻ?
Who else will enter us into Jannah?
Who else will keep us firm in Iman and steadfast in Deen?
Who else but Allah ﷻ?
_
We mention Allah ﷻ’s attributes Ar Rahman and Ar Raheem every single day in Salah!
_
And as Allah ﷻ said in one of the most hope driven Ayaat of the Qur’an
قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Say “Oh you of my slaves who have transgressed against themselves, Don’t despair in the mercy of Allah, Indeed Allah forgives all sins, Surely He is the most forgiving, the most beneficent”
[39:53]

Allah ﷻ commands us in this Ayah,
Not to despair in his Rahma!
_
If Allah ﷻ has commanded this,
How can we not hope for his Mercy?
_
In fact Allah ﷻ even says
كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ
He (Allah) has prescribed Mercy upon Himself.
[6:54]
_
And in a Hadith Qudsi
Allah ﷻ says
Servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I will guide you.
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2577]
_
And who is guided and misguided except at the mercy and will of Allah ﷻ?
_
May Allah ﷻ guide us and forgive all our shortcomings.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
