Rewards for His ﷻ remembrance
Allah ﷻ says
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ذِكْرًۭا كَثِيرًۭا
Oh you who believe remember Allah, a frequent remembrance.
[33:41]
We should remember Allah ﷻ in private and in public and be constant in it!
The Prophet ﷺ said:
أكثروا ذكر الله حتى يقولوا مجنون
Increase in the remembrance of Allah so much so until they say “this is a crazy person” [Musnad Ahmed (3/67, 81). Ibn Hibban in his “Sahiha” #814]
And he ﷺ said :
ما من قوم جلسوا مجلسا لم يذكروا الله فيه ، إلا رأوه حسرة يوم القيامة
There is nobody who sits in a gathering in which the remembrance of Allah is not mentioned except that it will be a regret for them on the day of judgement”
[Sunan Abu Dawud 4855]
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
And praise Him morning and afternoon
[33:42]
Meaning, busy your tongues frequently with Tasbeeh ( سبحان الله ), Tahleel ( لا اله الا الله ), Tahmeed ( الحمد الله ) and Takbeer ( الله اکبر )
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُصَلِّى عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ ۚ
He is the one who confers blessing upon them, and His angels in order to take them out of darkness into light.
[33:43]
Means, by means of His mercy towards you, His praise of you and the supplication of His angels for you, He brings you forth from the darkness of ignorance and misguidance into the light of guidance and certain faith.
Allah ﷻ says at the end of the Ayah:
وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيماً
And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers.
[33:43]
In a Hadith, the Prophet ﷺ and the Sahaba رضي الله عنهم watched as a woman among the prisoners of war searching for & then breastfeeding her child, So He ﷺ asked “Do you think that this woman would throw her child into the Fire even though she is able to do so?”
They said, “No.”
He ﷺ said “By Allah, Allah is more merciful towards His servants than this woman is to her child.”
[Sahih Bukhari 5653]
تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ سَلَٰمٌۭ ۚ
Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be “Salam!”
Allah ﷻ will greet them with Salaam on Qiyamah!
وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًۭا كَرِيمًۭا
And He has prepared for them a generous reward. ,A[33:44]
I.e. Jannah and whatever they wish to have in it, from things that have never been seen, heard or even imagined.
May Allah ﷻ Grant us the highest of rewards in Paradise and protect us from the Hellfire.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
