In this age of technology, the fitna has also drastically increased
_
People now suddenly can say whatever they want from behind a keyboard regardless of Haram and Halal and they do not fear consequences.
_
People will forget that Allah ﷻ says
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ
Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
[89:14]
_
They forget that Allah ﷻ has said
وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ
And Allah is a witness over all things.
[85:9]
_
And they forget that Allah ﷻ has said
بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًۭا
Indeed! For His Lord was ever watchful of him!
[84:15]
_
Or that Allah ﷻ asked:
أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
Does he not know that Allah sees?
[96:14]
When we speak online engaging with others, we lose our sense of accountability, and we go forth and commit Haram.
_
But Wallahi, slander or attacking someone online is not the only violation of honour, someone can commit.
_
By Allah ﷻ, you as a Believing man Messaging a sister in order to engage in Idle talk is an attack on her honour, because the end result is a violation of her honour.
_
And you as a Believing Woman, you are attacking and violating of your own honour and the honour of the man you approached or who is approaching you.
_
We Men and Women alike forget when we are looking at things for too long, that Allah ﷻ is always watching us.
We forget that as we Post, Like, Follow, Promote certain content, there are two Angels on our Shoulders.
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
Surely there are guardians over you
كِرامًا كَاتِبِين
Noble and recording;
يَعْلَمُوْنَ مَا تَفْعَلُوْن
They know all of what you do.
[82:10-12]
_
And Allah ﷻ will bring them on Qiyamah as an evidence when a slave denies his deeds.
_
We need to Fear Allah ﷻ.
Because in the end, Our Book of Deeds will have everything regardless whether anyone knows about it or not.
_
As Allah ﷻ says
يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ
They hide from men, but they cannot hide from Allah.
[4:108]
_
You can be hidden away in the deepest depths of the oceans, and Allah ﷻ will know.
_
May Allah ﷻ protect us from fitnas and sins.
