Allah ﷻ says
And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[4:110]
_
Prophet ﷺ said:
“No Muslim commits a sin and then performs ablution, prays two Rak`ahs and begs Allah for forgiveness for that sin, but He forgives him. He then recited these two Ayat,
(And whoever does evil or wrongs himself), (4:110) and,
(And those who, when they have committed Fahishah or wronged themselves with evil…).”(3:135)
[Musnad Ahmad 47]
_
Allah ﷻ says in another ayah:
And He it is Who accepts repentance from His servants
[42:25]
It was reported that Az-Zuhri said, concerning this Ayah, that Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said “Allah rejoices more over the repentance of His servant than one of you feels when he finds his lost camel in a place where he had feared that he would die of thirst”.
[Sahih Muslim 2675i]
_
The ayah continues:
and forgives sins,
Means, He will accept repentance in the future, and He forgives past sins.
and He knows what you do.
[42:25]
Means, He knows all your deeds and actions and words, yet He still accepts the repentance of those who repent to Him.
_
Whats stopping you from repenting?
From acting in obedience to the creator?
Guilt is stopping you?
Ya Akhi! Allah is Ar Rahman Ar Raheem! Al Ghaffar, Al Ghafoor!
Ask sincerely for Tawbah and He ﷻ will accept!
_
Because He ﷻ rejoices when you repent!
And is Shy to not accept it and reward you for it!
Salman al-Farsi reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily, Allah is conscientious and generous. He would be shy, when a man raises his hands to Him, to turn them away empty and disappointed.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3556]

May Allah ﷻ keep us steadfast and forgive our sins.
