EPISODE 2️⃣7️⃣ – REWARDS OF IBAD-UR-RAHMAN (Continuation)
In the previous two episodes we discussed about the three rewards of Ibad-Ur Rahman.
Now we’ll look into the last one mentioned in the ayah.
4️⃣ They Will Attain The Best Abode
The ayah continues:
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
Abiding therein; excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to dwell.
[Surah Al-Furqan 25:76]
The Ibadur-Rahman will be granted with the BEST abode, the BEST home, the BEST real estate that they will ever attain!
Subhan’Allaah! Such are the amazing rewards for Ibad-ur Rahman.
From now onwards, let’s aspire to become from the group of Ibad-ur Rahman. Let us do our best in doing good deeds that are pleasing to Allaah, and steer away from all types of sins for the sake of Allaah.
May Allaah make us all truly ‘Ibad-ur Rahman!
Alhamdulillah, with that, our lessons on the Nine Characteristics of the Ibad-ur Rahman has come to an end. I advise myself foremost, and then to others, to always come back to these lessons so that they remain in our hearts, and not forgotten by our limbs.
May this series be a motivation to work hard in beautifying our akhlaq for the pleasure of Allaah
And with that, I end this article by a beautiful comprehensive du’a that sums up the gist of this series:
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that Rasulallah ﷺ taught her this supplication:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا
Allaahumma inni as’aluka minal-khayri kullihi, ‘ajilihi wa ajilihi, ma ‘alimtu minhu wa ma la a’lam
Wa a’udhu bika minash-sharri kullihi, ‘ajilihi wa ajilihi, ma ‘alimtu minhu wa ma la a’lam
Allaahumma inni as’aluka min khayri ma sa’alaka ‘abduka wa nabiyyuka wa a’udhu bika min sharri ma ‘adha bihi ‘abduka wa nabiyyuka
Allaahumma inni as’alukal-jannatah wa ma qarrab ilayha min qawlin aw ‘amalin
Wa a’udhu bika minan-nari wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw ‘amalin
Wa as’aluka an taj’al kulla qada’in qadaytahuli khayran.
Allaahumma, I ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the Hereafter,what I know and what I do not know. And I seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know. Allaahumma, I ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet has asked You for And I seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your slave and Prophet sought refuge. Allaahumma, I ask You for Jannah and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. And I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed And I ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning me good.
