The Power and Might of Allah ﷻ

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Al-A’raf
وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّه
And when Musa came to the appointed place and time, and his Lord spoke to him.
قَالَ رَبِّي أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيك
He said “My Lord, Show me (yourself) so that I may see you.
قَالَ لَنْ تَرَانِي وَ لٰكِنِ انْظُرْ اِلَى الجَبَلِ
Allah answered, “You cannot see Me! But look at the mountain.
فَإِنِ اسْتَقَّرَ مَكَانَهُ فَسُوفَ تَرانِي
If it stays in its place, then you shall see me
فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا
But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level,
وَخَرَّ موسَى صَعِقًا
and Musa fell down unconscious.
[7:143]

سبحان الله
Musa عليه السلام fainted!
Why? He saw a mountain crumble before the Lord of the Worlds!
_
The same mountain about which Allah ﷻ describes
وَ الجِبَالُ أَوْتَادًا
And the mountains as pegs.
[78:7]
Meaning Firm and rooted, steadfast.
_
If you tried to demolish them, imagine the amount of power and explosives you would need!
Then imagine how much you would need to Level it.
To make it دَكًّا, to leave it flattened!
_
Allah ﷻ only appeared to it!
So then reflect on the majesty of Allah ﷻ, the greatness and the might of Allah ﷻ!
And how it would be, when we see His face, in Jannah.
_
Even the Kalaam of Allah ﷻ, the Qur’an would make the mountain shake.
As Allah ﷻ says:
لَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلࣲ لَّرَأَیۡتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعࣰا مُّتَصَدِّعࣰا مِّنۡ خَشۡیَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ
If We had sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah .
[59:21]

If you want to see the face of Allah ﷻ be like a mountain in your Deen, firm and strong as well as steadfast!
You want to enter Jannah? Hold unto the Qur’an with both hands and live by it!
_
Turn back to Allah ﷻ and reflect on the blessings he gave you!
Allah ﷻ says:
وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[16:18]
_
We must use these blessings in order to get closer to Allah ﷻ
_
Otherwise what are we doing, except wasting what little time we have left in this Dunya.
_
May Allah ﷻ forgive us and grant us goodness for both the Dunya and for the Akhirah.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
