How Can You Still Sin?

Allah ﷻ says
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَیۡنَیۡنِ
Have We not made for him two eyes?
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَیۡنَیۡنِ
Have We not made for him two eyes?
وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ
And a tongue and two lips?
[90:8-9]

Contemplate over this great blessing from Allah ﷻ, for the eyes, the lips and the tongue!
_
Imagine if we were distressed but we had no tongue to speak with, to call for help!
_
Allah ﷻ says
قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.
[80:17]
We forget the blessings of Allah ﷻ can be taken from us!
_
Imam Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“How ungrateful is man that when he sins, he must use the blessings that Allah Has given him”
_
Moisten your eyes and restrict them to looking at that which builds Imaan and Taqwa rather than looking at and speaking of that which destroys it.
_
We must thank Allah ﷻ through direct Shukr, worship and obedience to Allah ﷻ, while staying away from what displeases Him ﷻ.
_
We only need to contemplate over the heart.
Just like without oxygen the physical heart is dead, without Islam and remembrance of Allah ﷻ, the spiritual heart is dead too!
_
Imagine, the blessing of your oxygen supply cut off while you sinned in private and you died!
How disgraced would you be, that Allah ﷻ Himself exposed you to everyone!
_
And how many youth have been found dead in their beds in a state of Sexual Impurity?
_
And as Allah ﷻ says regarding that day of reckoning:
يَوْمَ لاَ يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلاَ بَنُونَ
The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail
Means, a man’s wealth will not protect him from the punishment of Allah, even if he were to pay a ransom equivalent to an earthful of gold.
إِلاَّ مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
Except Him who brings to Allah a sound heart.
[26:88-89]

This is the heart of the believer, for the heart of the disbeliever and the hypocrite is sick
_
Ibn Abi Mulaykah said that he met 30 Sahaba, and every one feared Nifaaq for himself!
Even Umar رضي الله عنه enquired regarding it.
_
