A Day Allah ﷻ Warns us About

Allah ﷻ says
يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ
They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ
And his wife and his brother,
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِى تُـْٔوِيهِ
And his nearest kindred who shelter him
وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.
[70:11-14]

This is what the day of Qiyamah will bring!
Everybody will be concerned with themselves!
_
Not even your mother will want you nor your father!
_
As Allah ﷻ says
لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
For every man, that Day will be a matter adequate for him.
[80:37]
No ransom will be accepted from him even if he brought all of the people of the earth (as ransom), and the greatest wealth that he could find, even if it was enough gold to fill the entire earth.

But he will bring forth his children and wealth even then!
The sheer desperation of this person is apparent.
_
So why do we turn a blind eye to this day?
The day Allah ﷻ warns us about,
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.
[2:48]

If your own family will try and ransom you before Allah ﷻ,
What about the girl you fool around with?
What about the friends you sinned with?
What do you think they’ll try and do?
_
Turn back to Allah ﷻ, repent and strive for righteousness
_
As Allah ﷻ says
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous
[43:67]

Why do we act like we can alter the justice of Allah ﷻ on Qiyamah, by only preparing our Dunya, but not for our Akhirah!
_
This Dunya and its wealth won’t avail you!
So why do you seek it?
_
May Allah ﷻ protect us, forgive us and grant us an easy reckoning on the Day of Judgement.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
