Salah: The Key to Jannah
Allah ﷻ says
إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدْنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ
Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.
[20:14]
And He ﷻ also says
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
Indeed, humankind was created impatient:
Then, Allah ﷻ explains this by saying,
إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعاً
distressed when touched with evil,
Meaning, whenever any harm touches him he is frightful, worried and completely taken back due to the severity of his terror and his despair.
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعاً
and withholding when touched with good—
Meaning, if he attains any blessing from Allah ﷻ, he is stingy with it, not sharing it with others. He will withhold the right of Allah ﷻ with that blessing.
إِلاَّ الْمُصَلِّينَ
except those who pray,
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ
Those who are constant in their prayer
[70:19-23]
Means they guard its times and the elements obligatory in it.
Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The key to Paradise is prayer, and the key to prayer is ablution.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi 4]
And in a hadith narrated by Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said;
“The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, he will have failed and lost.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 413]

You want Allah ﷻ to be pleased with you?
You want al-Jannah al-Firdaus ?
_
Hold tight to your Salah.
_
Allah ﷻ says:
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَٰتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ▪️أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ ▪️ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
And they who carefully maintain their prayers▪️Those are the inheritors▪️Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.
[23:9-11]

Salah improves a person on so many levels and brings the slave closer to Allah ﷻ!
_
May Allah ﷻ make us of those who establish Salah and May He ﷻ accept all our actions.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
