To Worship Allah ﷻ Alone

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Mu’minun

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـكُمْ عَبَثاً

Did you think that We had created you uselessly,

Means, `did you think that you were created in vain, with no purpose, with nothing required of you and no wisdom on Our part’

وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لاَ تُرْجَعُونَ

and that you would not be brought back to Us
[23:115]

This is as Allah ﷻ says:

أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى

Does man think that he will be left neglected
[75:36]
_
فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ

So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth
[23:116]
Means, sanctified be He above the idea that he should create anything in vain, for He is the True King Who is far above doing such a thing.

لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ

there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.
[23:116]

The Throne is mentioned because it is the highest point of all creation, and it is described as Karim, meaning beautiful in appearance and splendid in form.

You weren’t created except to worship Allah ﷻ, so then what will become of us when we prioritise over Allah ﷻ and his worship?
_
As Allah ﷻ says

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

And I did not create Jinn and man except to worship me
[51:56]
_
So the next time you neglect Fajr in Jama’ah,
The next time you neglect your recitation of Qur’an,
Neglect your Tawbah, your Shukr of Allah ﷻ.
_
Remember that Allah ﷻ doesn’t need your worship, and that you need him.
_
Remember that Allah ﷻ is al Khaliq and Al Musawwir, and he could take away your legs and eyes just as easily as you misused them.
_
Remember Allah ﷻ is Al Raziq and could cause you to lose your beloved job which you miss Salah Al Fajr for!
_
Remember that Allah ﷻ is Muqallib al Qulub, and could replace you as a muslim and guide someone else.
_
May Allah ﷻ grant us a true understanding and keep us steadfast upon the Deen.
