Fear Allah ﷻ and hope in His Mercy

We are Humans.
We are weak, we are nothing compared to Allah ﷻ.
_
As Allah ﷻ says

وَ خُلِقَ الْاِنْسٰنُ ضَعِيْفً

“And We created Mankind weak.”
[4:28]

Sufyan Ath Thawri رحمه الله was asked about this Ayah, and he commented “When a woman passes by a man, and he cannot lower his gaze and he attains no benefit in looking, is there anything weaker than this?”

We were created weak!
So why do we think and act in disobedience as if we can withstand the wrath and the punishment of Allaah?
_
Allah ﷻ is Al Khaliq!
and Allah ﷻ describes your stages in life

مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُ فَقَدَّرَهُ

From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him.

ثُمَّ السَّبِيْلَ يَسَّرَهُ

Then He eased his path for him.

ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ

Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.

ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ

Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
[80:19-22]

And Allah ﷻ is eternal.
As Allah ﷻ says

اللهُ الصَّمَد

“Allaah the eternal, the absolute.”
[112:2]

Yet we act out without ever pondering that we can’t even withstand the fire of this Dunya.
How? How will we withstand the Fire of Akhirah when it is 70 times hotter?
_
Allah ﷻ says

وَلَٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ ٱللَّهِ شَدِيدٌۭ

“But the Punishment of Allaah is indeed severe.”
[22:2]

Wallahi! Don’t wait for the scholars or the lectures to tell you about the Akhirah and the punishment of Allah!
Look it up! Read Kutub Al Tafsir! Pick up the Mushaf!
_
And you will see that this temporary life, this delusion, this fantasy is nothing.
Your clothes, your mansions, your cars, your money. It will all cease to exist.
_
You will realise that the Akhirah is where eternity of either Bliss or Torment is.
You will realise that it is nothing to Allah ﷻ if you disobey him or obey Him because it does not add to his greatness nor does it take away from it!
_
The only being that either is benefitted or harmed is you.
_
Allaah is Al-Qayyum and Al-Jabbar! So fear Him and hope in Him and fear His punishment and hope for His reward and mercy.
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Forget the Dunya and Engage with Islam for Akhirah!
