It has come to our notice that some miscreants have unscrupulously integrated themselves into the Groups. They previously disguised as fellow muslim brothers and have now graduated to posing as Islam Generation Admins.
Unfortunately, IslamGen has no control over who its members are and is in no way responsible for their activities.
We therefore do not recognise this as an infiltration of the group; rather, it is an unavoidable event that unfortunately goes beyond our administrative control.
However, falling victim to these individuals with malicious intent is preventable, and flushing them out is achievable with your help.
Members can prevent and shield themselves against such individuals by taking note of the following;
▪ IslamGen does not hold meetings with members.
▪ IslamGen would not inquire members for personal information.
▪ IslamGen Admins do not initiate private chats with members.
▪ IslamGen does not seek financial help from members through any Admin.
▪*IslamGen does not endorse or vouch for any member to conduct a business.
Below we list some ways in which the chats of the impostors may present:
◾Private chat to send back a code you received from a service provider.
◾Private chat opposite sex seeking to become friends.
◾Private chat to advertise a business, legit or otherwise.
◾Send nude pictures to your inbox.
◾Send you links to free data, airtime, etc.
◾Seeking financial assistance by stating their many problems.
◾You may be requested to disclose private, sensitive or confidential information.
◾It may propose a phone or instant message program interview as a precondition to receiving a visa or something of the sorts.
◾Money or fees may requested to process an action (employment, visa application, work permit etc)
◾You may be told that you were contacted in such a manner because it is a matter of urgency.
And so on.
In any case, please disregard any written or oral message that you believe is or might be fraudulent or suspicious, including but not limited to requests or offers for job offers or interviews, friendship requests and solicitation for funds.

We do not offer employment, paid or otherwise, under IG or any other organizations. The content of our service is da’wah and is meant for your general information and use only. Any communication that is not made through the channels mentioned above are not officially issued nor authorized by us and may contain false or fraudulent information. Official information will be passed down through the admins on the groups.
If you receive a message from anyone claiming to be an Admin of Islam Generation, kindly verify from the groups if such claim is true. All IG Admins are visible from the groups.
Should you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a communication purporting to be from IslamGen, take the following steps:
1. Block and report such accounts to Whatsapp (optional).
2. Message any Admin from the group with evidence of privacy violation (a screenshot preferably) .
