Which one Will you Be?

There will be two types of people on Qiyamah.
One group will be saying

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِیَمِینِهِۦ

So as for he who is given his record in his right hand”

فَیَقُولُ هَاۤؤُمُ ٱقۡرَءُوا۟ كِتَـٰبِیَهۡ

he will say, “Here, read my record!
[69:19]

And then there’ll be another group:

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ

But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, “Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
[69:25]

One knows he chose the right path and the other knows he chose the footsteps of Shaythan!
_
When Allah ﷻ says

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ

Oh you who believe! Do not follow the footsteps of Shaythan!
[24:21]

One will know and want everyone else to know, happily, what he did and what he has earned!

As Allah ﷻ says

وُجُوهࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ مُّسۡفِرَةࣱ

On that day,(some) faces will be bright!

ضَاحِكَةࣱ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةࣱ

Laughing and rejoicing!
[80:38-39]

He’ll be laughing, exclaiming to everyone, why? Because he prepared.
_
And how many of us have prepared to receive our books?

And how many of us have sadly followed the footsteps of Shaythan?

How many have fallen prey to the Fitnah of haram relationships, music, and so on and so forth?
_
Wallahi, many of us are arrogant.
We think we know all that we do.
Wallahi, you have forgotten countless sins and you have only remembered a few.

While you busy yourself with remembering all your good deeds and forgetting a few.
_
We need to reflect and repent to Allah ﷻ immediately.
Because we only need to imagine ourselves on Qiyamah, reading the Book, slowly realising we only failed ourselves.
_
How much Istighfaar do you do begging Allah to remove and veil your Sins?
Do you do enough?
Did you answer yes?
This is arrogance!
_
If the Mercy to Mankind never became content with his Deeds or his Istighfaar, why are you so happy with your Deeds.
_
The truth is, you can never do enough.
If we begin to think this, then we become complacent.
And we haven’t been given the promise of Jannah, nor a promise of acceptance!
_
So what makes you confident that all your deeds are accepted?
_
May Allah ﷻ protect us and accept all our acts of worship, and may He ﷻ instill sincerity in our hearts.
