Do you think sinning makes you worth something?

Do you think by doing haraam with many women is a sign of your manhood?
_
You think by dressing up and wearing make-up and disregarding the Hijab is a sign of your woman-hood?
_
Then you are wrong!
It is only a sign of your lack of Taqwa.

It does not take away from the might of Allah ﷻ that you sinned.
Nor does it add to it.
Wallahi, if the whole world did Shirk, this would not decrease Allah ﷻ in any way.
_
Some people, they sin and they sin, and then afterwards they feel too guilty to turn back and so they carry on.
Some people don’t even admit what they do is wrong and they carry on!
_
Allah ﷻ says

قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Say: Oh you my slaves who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair in the Rahma of Allah! Surely, Allah forgives all sins and He is the Forgiving, the Beneficient.
[39:53]

People think that Allah ﷻ won’t forgive them! But Allah ﷻ here in this Ayah is saying 2 commands.

Don’t despair in mercy of Allah ﷻ
Repent when you sin

Meaning, it is compulsory to repent after you sin!

What makes you and I think we are people without need for Tawbah?
_
When Prophet ﷺ made Istighfaar more than 70 times a day?
And He ﷺ was sinless!
_
Yet we who are sinful, can’t even repent 10 times a day.
_
Khazim ibn Husayn reported: Malik ibn Dinar رحمه الله said, “To weep over a mistake will dispel sins just as the wind dispels dry leaves.”
_
Ask Allah ﷻ!
Just as you sinning wouldn’t decrease His power.
Asking from Him the best in Dunya and Akhirah wouldn’t decrease His power!
No limits!

Abu Musa رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Verily, Allah Almighty stretches out His hand by night to accept the repentance of those who sin by day, and He stretches out His hand by day to accept the repentance of those who sin by night, until the sun rises from the west.”
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2759]

May Allāh ﷻ forgive us and grant us Jannatul Firdaus
