Attaining Allaah’s Protection
Uthman bin Affan رضي الله عنه narrated:
Allaah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer).”
[Jami` at-Tirmidhi 221 graded saheeh]
_ Rafi’ bin Khadij reported: _The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said: “Offer Fajr prayer at dawn, for it is most productive of rewards to you or most productive of reward.”
[Grade: Hasan Sahih by Shaykh Al-Albani in Sunan Abi Dawud 424]
_ Another narration.. Narrated from Rafi’ bin Khadij: _The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Pray the Subh (Fajr) early, for indeed its reward is greater” or “your reward.”
[Sunan Ibn Majah 672, graded saheeh]

Jundab Bin ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنه reported:
Allaah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: “He who prayed the morning prayer (in congregation) he is in fact under the protection of Allaah. And it can never happen that Allaah should demand anything from you in connection with the protection (that He guarantees) and one should not get it. He would then throw him in the fire of Hell.”
[Sahih Muslim 657]
_ Jundub bin Sufyan رضي الله عنه narrated: _The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever prays the Fajr then he is under the protection of Allaah’s covenant, so do not be treacherous with Allaah in his covenant.”
[Jami` at-Tirmidhi 222]
_ At-Teebi رحمه الله said: “The reason why Fajr prayer is singled out for mention here is because of the hardship that it entails, and performing it is a sign of a man’s sincerity and faith, and whoever is a sincere believer is under the protection of Allaah.” _
[Sharh Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh by al-Teebi 2/184]
_ Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “This indicates that it is obligatory to respect the Muslims who affirm their Islam by praying Fajr, because no one offers Fajr prayer but a believer. And it is not permissible for anyone to transgress against them.”_
