EPISODE 3️⃣: Getting a Remedy
The first thing which will be judged among a man’s deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the Prayer. If this is in good order then he will succeed and prosper but if it is defective then he will fail and will be a loser.
(Tirmidhi: 413)

To Pray Regularly

Prayer is a mercy that Allaah has enjoined upon us by His bounty and kindness. The one who doesn’t adhere to it is one who deprives himself of the joy of contact with Allaah (ﷻ).
Allaah says, after the verses in which He enjoined purification for prayer:
“Allaah does not want to place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His Favour upon you that you may be thankful”
(Al-Maa’idah, 5:6]
📍If you establish in your heart that Salaah is not a difficulty, as explicitly stated by Allaah, it is a step towards guidance.
The Prophet (ﷺ) whom you love and whose Seerah (life) you love, says: “My delight has been made in prayer.”
(An-Nasaa’i (3940); authenticated by al-Albaani)
📍Surely, a role model such as the Prophet (ﷺ) is one we should emulate in every aspect.
📍Pray for guidance and hope that Allaah will guide you.
“…And never give up hope of Allaah’s Mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allaah’s Mercy, except the people who disbelieve”
(Yoosuf, 12:87]
Hope means that a person must strive for whatever he hopes for, but despair means that he will be sluggish and slow. The best that people can hope for is the bounty, kindness, mercy and grace of Allaah.
📍Perform good deeds.
Doing good deeds for the love of Allaah is a step towards strengthening your Eemaan.
📍Remember that death is certain, the rising after death is certain, and that the questioning is certain. And that if your Salaah is deficient, the rest of your deeds will not be considered.
📍Lastly, we advise you to read the book “As-Salaah, limadha (Prayer – why?)” by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ismaa’eel al-Muqaddim; and listen to the lecture, “Limadha la tusalli (Why don’t you pray?)” by Shaykh Muhammad Husayn Ya’qoob, as these will be very beneficial for you In’Shaa’Allaah.
We ask Allaah to make us steadfast in adhering to truth and Islam and to protect us from Shaytaan, the accursed.
